Presbyterian Home of Maryland
Presbyterian Home of Maryland, Inc. (PHM) has served Baltimore area seniors since 1883. Originally located in downtown Baltimore, Presbyterian Home moved to the historic Offutt Estate in Towson in 1929. A faith-based not-for-profit charitable organization serving adults of all faiths, Presbyterian Home is committed to its mission through the provision of a complete continuum of care:
The Presbyterian Home of Maryland, Inc. provides Christian-based retirement living and health care through the continuum of life, in a warm and caring environment, dedicated to superb service and the values of dignity, trust and independence.

As the expectations of today’s seniors have evolved, Presbyterian Home recognized the need to extend its mission in keeping with new retirement lifestyle choices and advanced approaches to lifelong wellness, enriched learning and living, and specialized health care.

Although the current campus is beloved by residents, families and staff, Presbyterian Home recognizes the limitations presented by the age and size of the lovely Offutt Estate.

The Board of Directors of Presbyterian Home embarked on an extensive strategic planning process to determine how they may best continue to serve today’s retirees in the same gracious manner as they have since 1883. Presbyterian Home gathered a team of the retirement industry’s best design, financial and marketing experts to plan the new Village at Carsins Run and is currently conducting a search to find a suitable piece of land to extend its mission far into the future.
